Genuine Windows?
Microsoft is anything but genuine… Don’t install Update for Microsoft Windows (KB971033) Aside from the royal pain of having to deal with a system that is not genuine after this update.  There are other reasons to note.

How many times do you have to give your email address out when you don’t really want to? You can create a dummy address but it requires that you remember the username and password.  Another alternative is this website, as you can create one on the fly with no strings attached.

Assuming that you like the 1/3 juice to 2/3 water mix, it is actually cheaper to drink something better for you. A typical drink is about 12 fl oz, so we are only consuming 4 fl oz of juice per glass. I recently purchased 96 fl oz container of grape juice for $4.12. A quick division reveals that this should make enough for 24 drinks… or about 17 cents per glass! Let’s look at soda....

It never fails to amaze me how the most obvious things can completely miss someone until many years later. Someone in their 30’s should not be learning this for the first time, but here I am… My Achilles’ heel has always been soda. I can’t drink only water, unless it is right after a work out, and milk is too heavy at times to drink often. The only alternative seems to...

WASHINGTON (AP) — After struggling for months to avert bankruptcy, lender CIT Group has filed for Chapter 11 protection in an attempt to restructure its debt while trying to keep badly needed loans flowing to thousands of mid-sized and small businesses. … The Chapter 11 filing is one of the biggest in U.S. corporate history, following Lehman Brothers, Washington Mutual, WorldCom and...

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Costco Wholesale Corp. said Wednesday that it will start accepting food stamps at its warehouse clubs nationwide after testing them at stores in New York. It’s a big about-face for a retailer that has catered to bargain-hunting but affluent shoppers, and it’s a sign of the grim reality facing retailers and their customers. The number of Americans relying...
